“We wish to advise the Nation that HE, President [Emmerson Mnangagwa] will be taking his holiday break from the 1 January 2021 to the 2nd of February 2021. Hon VP Mohadi will be acting President from 1 January to 14 January 2021. Hon VP, Dr CGDN Chiwenga from 15 Jan to February 2021.”
In his previous three weeks holiday in 2020 Mnangagwa decided to spend it inside the country.
However, traditionally for his vacations, Mnangwagwa’s predecessor, the late Robert Gabriel Mugabe would fly to the Far East, hence, it is not yet clear on whether Mnangagwa will put on Mugabe’s 37 year boots or he will keep his 2020 boots.
On the same vain, he urged the nation to remain united and patriotic and to observe the COVID-19 general rules.
