Cristiano Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, boasting an impressive collection of 33 senior trophies throughout his career.

These trophies include seven league titles, five Champions League titles, and the UEFA European Championship.

However, there are still several coveted trophies that have eluded him.

Saudi Pro League

Since joining Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo has made headlines with his goal-scoring prowess, netting 55 goals in 56 appearances.

Despite his individual success, he has yet to secure a league title with the club.

In his debut season, Al-Ittihad claimed the championship, and last year it was Al-Hilal who finished first with an impressive 96 points.

King’s Cup

Ronaldo came close to winning the King’s Cup during his time in Saudi Arabia but fell short in the final against Al-Hilal.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and although Ronaldo scored during the penalty shootout, Al-Nassr lost 5-4.

Saudi Super Cup

In this season’s Super Cup final, Ronaldo found the net but could not prevent Al-Nassr from suffering a heavy defeat to Al-Hilal, who won the match 4-1.

Frustration was evident as Ronaldo expressed disappointment with his teammates’ performance.

AFC Champions League

Despite being hailed as one of the greatest players in Champions League history, Ronaldo has only participated in the AFC Champions League once.

Last season, Al-Nassr was eliminated in the quarter-finals by UAE side Al Ain after a penalty shootout, where Ronaldo did score but his teammates struggled.

Europa League

Ronaldo’s sole appearance in the Europa League came during the 2022-23 season with Manchester United.

He contributed four goals in six matches, helping United finish second in their group.

However, he had already left the club by the time the knockout stages began.

FIFA World Cup

The World Cup is perhaps the most significant trophy missing from Ronaldo’s illustrious career.

While he downplays its importance—claiming that Portugal’s Euro 2016 victory is equivalent—there’s no denying that he desires this title, especially after Lionel Messi won it in 2022.

Many speculate he may continue playing for Portugal to pursue this dream at the 2026 tournament.

Confederations Cup

Another international trophy that eludes Ronaldo is the Confederations Cup.

After winning the Euros in 2016, Portugal qualified for this tournament but lost to Chile in the semi-finals via penalties.

Primeira Liga

During his only full season with Sporting Lisbon, Ronaldo did not win the Primeira Liga title as the club finished third behind Porto.

Despite contributing seven goals that season, it wasn’t enough to secure a championship.

Taça de Portugal

Ronaldo also missed out on winning the Taça de Portugal during the 2002-03 season when Sporting was eliminated by lower-league side Associação Naval in the quarter-finals.

Although he scored in earlier rounds, he couldn’t make an impact against Naval.

Despite an extraordinary career filled with numerous accolades and records, these nine trophies remain elusive for Cristiano Ronaldo.

As he continues to compete at a high level, fans are left wondering if he will ever add these prestigious titles to his already impressive collection.
