James Rodriguez, who was an outcast at Real Madrid, with the Los Blancos boss Zidane not preferring the Colombian has quickly rekindled his career since he joined Everton.

Rodriguez who featured in Everton’s 1 nil victory over “The Special One” Mourinho’s Tottenham, created several chances in the game though he could not convince fans that he was really the 2014 wold cup Golden Boot winner.

Today, the Colombian upped his game and played a crucial role in Everton’s 5 – 2 win over West Brom t Goodison Park.

In 10 minute of play, Everton were already trailing by a goal to nil before Calvert-Lewin equalized by a back heal, a controversial goal which called for VAR’s intervention.

The Colombian took his side to a lead in the 45th minute of play with a wonderful strike outside the box before West Brom’s Gibbs and Head Coach Bilic were shown the red card by Mike Dean.

10 man West Brom proved to be very resilient and equalized in the 47th minute where the Colombian proved to the Everton fans that he had a lot to give them.

In the 62nd and 66th minute, the Colombian set the English international Calvert-Lewin to earn Everton a 5 – 2 win over the newly promoted side.

Calvert-Lewin earned his first professional hat trick in the game with the Colombian being involved in three of the 5 games they scored.

Everton will be meeting Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park Stadium on Matchweek 3, next week Saturday.
