Zimbabwean businessman and socialite Genius Kadungure affectionately known in the social circles as Ginimbi has died.
Ginimbi died in a car accident along Borrowdale road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to eye witnesses, he was thrown off the vehicle which burst into flames after the crash, according to witnesses.
Three bodies are still in the Rolls Royce, as fire brigade is yet to retrieve them.
The sad news were confirmed by Ginimbi’s closest friend who confirmed to My Gokwe Media the sadly passing of the Zimbabwean flamboyant businessman and socialite.
“I can confirm that Ginimbi is no more and even his cashiers at Dreams night club have nit yet cashed,” he said.
He added that he was shocked by the death of his friend as they spent almost the whole nught at Dreams club before he left for home around three am.
“I was with Ginimbi last night at Dreams night club before i left him around 3 am and went home, only to receive a shocking call that this morning that he had an accident along Borrowdale road.”
Ginimbi was 36.
An eye witness who talked to My Gokwe Media also said Ginimbi was over speeding.
“The accident happened in front of my eyes and Ginimbi was speeding. He first overtook me and on his second attempt to overtake the second vehicle, that is when he hit a blue Honda Fit driving the opposite way,” said the witness.
The accident also claimed the life of celebrity fitness Moana Mimie, who once featured in Jah Prayzah’s Munyaradzi video.
