Third Suspect Arrested As Tapiwa Makore’s Head is Still Missing

In a statement today, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) revealed that they have arrested and brought to the court a third suspect associated with the murder of Tapiwa Makore.

“The ZRP has arrested a third suspect in connection with the death of Tapiwa Makore (7). The suspect, Moud Hunidzarira (42) has since appeared in court. #notomurder.”

Police are still hunting for the boy’s head, suspected to have been taken for ritual purposes.

The boy was murdered on the night of September 24 this year after being kidnapped earlier from the family garden.

The boy’s uncle, Tapiwa Makore (senior) and the uncle’s domestic worker, Tafadzwa Shamba, have since been arrested for the kidnapping and killing and have been remanded in custody for trial.
