Life of a Woman

By LB Mutasa

Waking up very early in the morning,  she have to clean the whole house and make sure that the kids are bathed and prepared to go to school.

She also has the duty to prepare everything for the husband to go to work.

With all the burdens on her solders she never complains people in the whole community mocks her as she wears torn clothes saving money for her little pumpkin’s clothes .

She spends the whole day collecting scrap in order to resale in order to buy food for lunch and supper.

She makes sure her children are well fed and happy. She waits patiently for her drunk husband who comes home late and starts cursing her calling her cruel names.

Even though its painful she never forgets that there is God, she prays without season for she knows that there is a hole at the end of the tunnel.
