The highest paid footballer in ABSA Premiership, Zimbabwean striker Khama Billiat has finally broke the duck as he found the back of the net in a match against Chippa United.

The goal, scored in the 9th minute of play became the second one for the Zimbabwean star this season, whose scoring drought spanned for almost a year.

His scoring drought had raised a lot of criticism as his performance was deemed not to be in commensuration with his remuneration in the South African league.

Billiat’s score was the only score for Amakhosi this evening and it helped Kaizer Chiefs to maintain their top position on the log as they head for a final match on the 5th if September in tally with Amasandawana.

Chiefs is on top of Sundowns on goal difference, both at 56 points as Sundowns also thrashed George Chigiova’s Polokwane City 3 nil.
