The Zimbabwe national team, warriors who had a bad performance during the recent CHAN tournament in Cameroon has seen its rankings sinking by four places to 112 in latest FIFA rankings published by the football governing board.

The bad performance exhibited by the local lads at the tournament are likely to have been the major contributors to this fall in rankings.

Zimbabwe bowed out of the tournament without a single win, for the first time ever, with the coach Zdravko Loga Logarusic blaming juju and lack of game time for the boys.

The local league failed to resume last year therefore the local players had not played in any competition for a prolonged period of time.

Those toping the world rankings are Belgium, France, Brazil, England with Portugal completing the top five.

In the African continent, Zimbabwe now seat at 26th position, with Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria occupying the top five.
