Zimbabwe’s warriors who earned a point when they hosted South Africa for World Cup qualifier are likely to be without Lyon striker Tinotenda Kadewere when they face Ethiopia for their second match of the qualifiers.

It is reported that the France based forward suffered an injury during the Group G world cup qualifier opener against Bafana Bafana at National Sports Stadium last friday.

This is like salt which have been rubbed on coach Zdravko Logarusic’s wounds as he has already lost several key players due to various reasons,

Logarusic is already without the likes of Aston Villa’s midfielder Marvelous Nakamba, Wigan Athletic’s defender Tendayi Darikwa, Bournemouth’s player of the month fullback Jordan Zemura due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

Warriors will be heading to the East Africa with a point in Group G, seating third behind Group leaders Ghana who have three points and South Africa who have same points.
