Unconfirmed reports reaching this reporter indicate that Esaph Mdlongwa, the founding member of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and the party’s first organising secretary and is a former MP for Pumula-Luveve has died.

A family member who spoke to this reporter said the information reaching them pointed to the fact that the developments were true.

The cause of the alleged death is not known yet.
