Calvin Nhliziyo Suspect Killer Hands Self to the Police 

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police a suspect who hit Mgcini Calvin Nhliziyo, a young musician from Bulawayo have handed self to the Police.

“On 28/10/20 Police in Bulawayo arrested one suspect in connection with the fatal hit and run accident which led to the death of musician Calvin Nhliziyo. The suspect handed himself over to the police on 28/10/20.

The 35-year-old rapper, died early Sunday morning in a hit and run car accident near his Luveve residence.

The hip-hop musician whose stage name is Cal Vin was hit and trapped under the vehicle which dragged him for more than 30 meters. He was reportedly walking home with his unidentified girlfriend, after watching an international soccer match at Emakhandeni Club.

Some of his hits include Bebengakholwa and Zikhuphan, which he recorded with South African artiste, Cassper Nyovest.

Fundani Ndimande, who is one of his friends described the scene as an assassination.

“This is heartbreaking. I just came back from the crime scene. It wasn’t a hit and run but premeditated murder, it seems,” he said.

Though the Police said investigations were underway, their immediate report shows that the suspect ended up handing himself.
