The government of Zimbabwe has set a new economic vision, setting milestones for the next five years.

The government has planned to create jobs, bring down the inflation rate as well as expanding the economy.

Posting on his twitter handle, President Mnangagwa said “We have set out our economic vision. Over the next 5 years, our government will:

  • Create 760,000 new jobs
  • Bring inflation down to between 3-7% by 2025
  • Expand the economy by 5% year on year

The president encourage Zimbabweans to unitedly pull on same direction towards achieving the ambition for the benefit of all Zimbabweans.

Let’s work together towards this ambition for the benefit of all Zimbabweans.”
