Mamelodi Sundowns team manager Peter Ndhlovu is being blamed by the club’s fans for the mistake made on the team list in their 1 nil Nedbank final victory against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday.

The Brazilians’ 20 man squad for the Nedbank final match included Tebogo Langerman who was suspended following accumulating four yellow cards in the final league game last season which saw Sundowns scooping the title from Kaizer Chiefs.

Though the defender did not feature in the match, the PSL rules does not allow such a player to be part of team warm up or sit on the bench, what Langerman actually did.

Amasandawana are likely to face disciplinary action if they are found guilty, but they will not be stripped off their title.

It is unfortunate that the Brazilians fans have taken the matter to twitter expressing their disappointment on the incident, blaming former Zimbabwean striker for failing to pick the anomaly.

A million dollar question then comes, is the Warriors Captain to blame for that mistake?

Reports suggests that the team sheet for the game, which circulated online was not prepared by Ndlovu and was not part of technical team on the day.

The club hasn’t communicated on the matter while Bloemfontein Celtic launched an official complaint at the PSL over player eligibility soon after the game.
